At Chef Jay, we are committed to providing truly unforgettable culinary experiences. Our foundation lies in lovingly executed Afro-Caribbean classics married with Global Cuisine.
Our Head Chef & Founder, Jay, learned the art of balancing spices and mastering techniques from his family, most notably, his wonderful Nan. This is why Curry Goat is still his favourite dish after all of these years...
We take this family-based ethos, our learnings, travels and team knowledge to recreate beloved, and inspire new dishes, from tender, Slow Braised Spiced Lamb Shank to flavourful Ackee, Saltfish & Plantain Spring Rolls.
Jamaican-Ghanaian, Spanish, French, Italian, Asian &
South American cuisines and cultures deeply influence what we do. Jay himself spent much time immersed in the cultures of all of these locations. This enables us to utilise our special, authentic Chef Jay's Jerk Marinade (see our Store here) in a Saturday Wedding for 120 Jerk Chicken lovers, then deliver Jollof Arancini and Brown Butter Salmon Hasselback Potato Canapes for a Corporate Event on Tuesday afternoon.
A spontaneous and incredibly fun experience on Masterchef 2022, along with countless Global explorations and travels, underpin our promise to deliver a memorable experience with well-presented, flavourful and truly memorable food.
After all, Nan is always watching with a keen eye ;)

We just wanted to say a huge thank you for the incredible food and service you provided at our wedding . Everything was absolutely perfect! The fusion of Indian and Jamaican flavours was such a hit with all our guests still talking how delicious it was.
The brown stew chicken was simply outstanding full of rich flavour and cooked to perfection and the jerk chicken slider burgers were an absolute favourite during the canapé service. Every bite was bursting with flavour and beautifully presented.
From the first tasting to the wedding day itself chef Jay you were so professional, responsive and easy to work with. The attention to detail and follow-up made the whole process seamless and stress-free.
